Police say they are searching for the driver and passenger who fled the scene of a crash in Stony Brook, leaving behind a third person who was riding in their vehicle.
Authorities say a pickup truck crashed and landed on its side by the woods along North Country Road Friday night.
Police say two people inside the truck took off on foot, leaving behind a third occupant who was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Descriptions of the two people were not immediately available and the suspects were not identified. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
