Police say they have arrested two men in connection to the murder of a missing Hofstra University graduate who was last seen at an Upper East Side apartment last weekend.
Authorities say the body of Joseph Comunale, 26, of Stamford, Connecticut, was found buried in a shallow grave in Oceanport in Monmouth County on Wednesday. They believe Comunale was stabbed to death.
According to police, James Rackover, 25, and Lawrence Dilione, 28, were charged with second-degree murder, concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence. Rackover is reportedly the son of famous Manhattan jeweler Jeffrey Rackover.
Comunale was last seen Sunday morning going into the Grand Sutton building in Manhattan.
Police say Comunale's bloody clothes, sheets and towels were found in the building's garbage chute.
Comunale was a graduate of Hofstra University.
