Police say two people are under arrest after allegedly robbing a 7-Eleven in Floral Park at knifepoint.

Police say James Kovatch, of Great Neck, entered the store on Jericho Turnpike, went behind the counter and pulled out a knife.

Police say at the same time, Amanda Matthews, of Brooklyn, was putting merchandise under her clothing.

Kovatch and Matthews were arrested and charged with robbery.

The employee suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
