Police say one teen was shot and another was attacked with a machete in Brentwood early Monday morning.
Investigators say a group of men was standing on Apple Street when three men approached them, and one opened fire.
A 19-year-old Brentwood man was shot in the leg, according to police.
The initial group began to flee when a 17-year-old who was among them tripped and fell. He was struck multiple times in the face with a machete, police say.
The shooting victim was treated and released at the hospital.
The machete attack victim was hospitalized and must undergo surgery, police say.
No arrests have been made. The victims' identities have not been released.
