Police say a Freeport man allegedly shot another man in Baldwin.

Officials say an argument broke out between Malik Burton and the victim on Van Buren Street Wednesday evening.

News 12 is told the victim got out of his car and grabbed a baseball bat. Burton then grabbed a gun and shot the victim in the buttocks.

The victim is expected to be OK.
