Police tell News 12 the crash happened Tuesday on County Road 104 between Sunrise Highway and the County Road 31 traffic circle.
The car crashed into a tree, police say.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital. The passenger died.
Police have identified the passenger as Walter Joel Garcia, age 24, of Calverton.
