PM Pediatrics will begin offering COVID-19 antibody testing for adults and children in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, the company says.

They say their COVID-19 antibody test consists of a blood sample, drawn from a vein.

An antibody is a marker in the blood that indicates the body’s immune reaction to an infection.

PM Pediatrics is offering the IgG test which can help determine if a person has previously had COVID-19.

Results are reported in approximately two-three days.

Here are the locations in the tri-state area:

· CONNECTICUT: West Hartford

· NEW YORK: Manhasset, Spring Valley, Hopewell Junction, Mamaroneck, Yonkers, Selden, Commack, Massapequa Park, Syosset, Carle Place, Cobble Hill, Forest Hills

· NEW JERSEY: Clifton, North Brunswick, Springfield, Paramus, Livingston, Holmdel, Pompton Plains, Cherry Hill, Turnersville

Testing begins at 12 p.m. at most offices, and all visits must be booked in advance via the PM Pediatrics Anywhere app.
