? ABC News reports a Pakistani scientist with links to al-Qaida had a list of area landmarks, including Plum Island, with her when she was arrested last month.
The list allegedly in possession of Aafia Siddiqui, 36, also included Times Square and the New York City subway system. Investigators say in addition, she had instructions for making chemical and biological weapons.
Siddiqui, also the FBI's most wanted woman, was once married to the nephew of alleged Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and was educated in the United States at MIT.
Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) says that while Siddiqui was a radical, there?s no evidence she had specific plans to attack the targets. Her list appeared to have been a wish list, he says.
Siddiqui is formally charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with the last month?s encounter. She did not enter a plea at her hearing Tuesday.
Siddiqui's family and attorney call the allegations absurd. A bail hearing is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18.
