A
potential plea deal has been put on hold in a suspected murder-for-hire-plot
involving a former NYPD officer.
As
News 12 has reported, former NYPD Officer Valerie Cincinelli, of Oceanside, was
expected to plead guilty in court today as part of a plea deal.
However,
Cincinelli’s attorney asked today's
hearing be pushed back to March.
Cincinelli
is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her estranged husband and her
boyfriend's daughter.
CIncinelli
was ready to cut a deal last week. Part
of that deal includes her guilty plea, but it is still unclear which charges
she was expected to plead guilty to.
