A teenage basketball team from Israel played a game at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School on Thursday.

Three players on the team were among hostages taken by Hamas following the attack on Oct. 7.

Their head coach was also killed.

The players have rallied around basketball and say they came to New York for some normalcy.

"To our kids, this is the best therapy for them,” said general manager and coach Omer Bilansky.

While in New York, the teens also made kayaks, ate at barbeques and attended a New York Yankees game.
