A friendly wager has been made between Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and the mayor of Honolulu as Massapequa takes on Honolulu in their first game of the Little League World Series.
The Honolulu mayor is wagering Hawaiian macadamia nuts and Blakeman is offering up pizza from Pappalardo's Pizza Cove.
The county executive says he is extremely confident in the Massapequa Coast Little League team and that he expects to be eating the nuts from Hawaii next week.
Massapequa will play Honolulu on Friday at 7 p.m. in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
