News 12 Long Island received a picture of doors open on a Long Island Rail Road train car that was not at the platform.
Billy Fleming, of Merrick, sent the picture to News 12 as he was on the 5:40 p.m. train out of Penn Station, and says the last car usually does platform at Merrick.
Fleming says he was happy no one was hurt during the incident.
The MTA says it will now interview crew members to see what happened.
