Photographer near Ukraine border reveals realities of war

John Roca says there were plumes of smoke seen at a border crossing on Saturday.

News 12 Carol Wilkinson spoke with a freelance photographer currently in Poland documenting the impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
John Roca, currently based near the Ukraine border, says refugees keep streaming through at all hours of the day.
"They come in waves," Roca says. "When a family member is there, they rush to hug them. There's crying and tears of joy."
Roca currently works as a photographer for the New York Post. He says there were plumes of smoke seen at a border crossing on Saturday.
