One of Long Island's largest food eating contests is back after the pandemic cancelled last year's event.
Peter's Clam Eating Contest kicks off today in Island Park.
Continuing with the tradition, firefighters will take part in the competition this year.
Residents 18 or older can participate as well.
The event starts at 1 p.m. at Peter's Clam Bar.
