Police say a man was hit by a car as he tried to cross Jericho Turnpike at West Hills Road in Huntington.
The incident happened just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the unidentified man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say it does not appear the driver will face criminal charges.
