A man was killed after he was hit while crossing the street in Lindenhurst.
Kenneth Cook, 77, of Lindenhurst, was crossing Montauk Highway near South Wellwood and Washington avenues around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Suffolk police say.
Cook was struck by two vehicles, according to police.
Both drivers stayed at the scene.
The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he died.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
