Police are investigating a deadly overnight accident in Brentwood.

Officers say they were called to the scene on Route 111 around 1:45 a.m.

They say an unidentified male pedestrian was walking east near Hagen Street when he was hit by a southbound Infiniti sedan driven by 19-year-old Kevin Bonilla.

The victim was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, Bonilla stayed at the scene and was not hurt. At this point, no charges have been filed.
