In this week's Paws & Pals, Remember Me Rescue presented some furry friends that are looking for their 'furever' homes.

Emma is a 10-year-old female Maltese. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. Diabetic and requires insulin two times a day, lovable and wants to be held. She came into Brookhaven Shelter as a stray.

Princess (11) and Pearla (9) are mom and daughter. They were given to someone who gave them to us. We have no idea what kind of a life they had, but can imagine it wasn't good. Princess and Pearla have a love hate mom/ daughter relationship. They go outside and potty together and sleep together but will fight over food and sometimes just annoy each other. They need a home with a couple of laps so they can each be spoiled. Princess just wants to be held. Pearla needs a little time to trust, but then will sleep with her head on your chest. Good with small dogs their size. No cats.

Winter (American Eskimo, male, 9) and Precious (Blue nosed pit bull, female, 9). For two amazing dogs, they have had a tough life. Their owner died and they ended up at Hempstead Shelter for a year. Then they were in boarding a year, and currently have been in a foster home for a year, Winter is a silly boy who loves the winter, while Precious enjoys the sun and playing with the hose. Winter prefers sleeping on a cool floor, while Precious will snuggle in bed w you. These guys are a special pair and deserve their own home. Winter is protective of Precious with other dogs, so only pets.They love to be with people. Anyone who adopts would be lucky to have these two amazing pups.
