Paws & Pals: Dogs up for adoption now at Forgotten Friends of Long Island

Ellie is a dog who wants nothing more than a stroll (not a run, a stroll) with her family as well as couch time snuggling with them. Ellie is a very easy mixed breed dog who is calm and loving and longs for a family of her own. Ellie is about 4-5 years old and is fully vetted. Ellie's foster parents sing her praises and consider her a total gem. Ellie would thrive in a quieter home and isn't looking for an active social life!! Our tiny dancer, Honey, was living outside with no shelter and little food. We were grateful to be able to get her away from this neglect and find her a loving forever home. Honey is about a year old and approximately 10 pounds. Honey is fully vetted and despite her life to date, she is happy and loving and ready to find a family who will love and appreciate her. Honey likes other small dogs and is good with everyone. We'd like to see Honey in a home where she will be cherished and the little lap dog she craves to be.

Ace is an adorable mixed breed who is fully vetted and weighs about 22 pounds. Ace is a young guy approximately 18 months old. Ace loves other dogs and is a fun loving little pup who just wants to be loved. He longs for a family of his own. Ace has been fostered by one of our wonderful volunteers and plays with her two dogs all day long. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash and would make a lucky family a wonderful addition.

Bernie is a young little mixed breed with a big personality!!! Bernie is a wonderful sweet little dog who weighs16 pounds. and is about 1-2 years old. Bernie is neutered, chipped, and has all his immunizations. Bernie loves to play with other playful dogs and loves all people. Bernie is an adorable little guy who makes us smile. His little body and big love of life makes him a joy to be near.
