In this week's Paws & Pals, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter presented four dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.
Tabitha is a 2-year-old girl. She is sweet, playful and very friendly with new people. She also loves a good game of fetch! She is a fan of other dogs. Tabitha has however displayed slight guarding of her food. A home with older kids would be best.
Police officers brought Liam to the shelter after an anonymous caller alerted them to a dog that was tied up with no food or water. The 1-year-old is very friendly and super playful. He gets along with other dogs and would make a great addition to any family.
Dexter is just over a year old. He was found by a good Samaritan at Jones Beach in February and has been at the shelter ever since. Dexter is friendly with other dogs and likes meeting new people. Dexter already knows a ton of commands and we know he will make a great companion to any family.
Princess is a spunky 4 year old. She was left at a local police station with a note saying her name is Princess and that whoever had her could no longer care for her. Princess is very playful, a lot of fun, and very friendly. She's hoping to find a home with older children and where she is the only dog.
