In this week's Paws & Pals, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter presented three dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.
Marco is a beautiful 3-year-old boy found outside chained, emaciated and not in good health. Marco is very sweet with people he trusts but due to his past, he will need a savvy owner that can work with his guarding and show him the ropes on how to live in a home. He would be best in an adult-only home with no other animals.
Dexter is 1.5 years old. He was brought to the shelter in Febraury by a good Samaritan who found him at Jones Beach. Dexter is friendly with other dogs and likes meeting new people. Dexter already knows a ton of commands, and will make a great addition to any family.
Creed is 9.5 years old. He is sweet, and came to the shelter two years ago as an owner surrender due to financial hardship. Two months later, he was adopted again, but sadly then returned to the shelter because his adopters were evicted. Creed is a big love who loves attention. He would be great in a home with older children, and can be placed with another dog who would be tolerant of his high energy.
