The man accused of stabbing his girlfriend at Tanger Outlets will face a judge on assault charges today.

Police say Paul Thompson Jr. repeatedly stabbed the woman at the outlets in Riverhead last month.

Thompson then allegedly forced her to drive to another location where she was able to escape.

The Calverton man will be arraigned on assault charges.
