Police are warning the public about two attempted burglaries in Parsippany. They say both incidents happened before 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Officials say a suspect tried to break into a home on Old Bloomfield Avenue through a front window. That suspect left once the home’s alarm system went off.

Police say the same person then tried to break into an Audi and the back door of a home on Winfield Drive.

Anyone who might have information about the burglaries is asked to call Parsippany police at 973-263-4300.
