Parents and advocates are calling for the passage of the Stop Online Predators Act designed to protect kids on gaming and social media platforms, such as Roblox.

The act would require platforms automatically disable open chat functions for kids and that their profiles be set to private.

At least 40% of Roblox users report being under the age of 13.

More than 13,000 instances of child exploitation have been reported on the game in just one year.
