The parents of a student who died during football practice have filed a $15 million lawsuit against Sachem School District.
Joshua Mileto, 16, died after getting hit on the head with a log during a strength and conditioning drill at a preseason football camp.
Mileto's family released a statement that reads in part, "Our hope in beginning this lawsuit today is that there will be accountability for what happened to Josh and to make sure that it never happens again."
The district hasn't commented on the suit.
