On Sunday, the Chiefs and 49ers will fight for glory in Super Bowl LIV, but around Long Island, News 12's Kevin Maher has been part of his own big game.
The gym at the James H. Vernon School in Oyster Bay was jumping for News 12 Long Island Paper Bowl IV.
Maher's opponent this year was Christa Thomas, a 5-foot, 1-inch paper football champ who beat three boys in the finals to make the Paper Bowl.
The two faced off in a 2.5-minute game that ended with a new Paper Bowl champion.
