Town of Oyster Bay residents could possible see a 400 percent increase in parking permits.
The town board will vote tonight on a proposal to hike the cost of a two year parking permit to $100.
The amount is up from the current cost of $20 every two years.
The cost is still lower than a 900 percent hike that was considered in January. That plan was rejected earlier this month.
Residents told News 12 at that meeting they were worried about parking at town lots, especially at Hicksville when a repair project will take a parking garage out of commission this summer.
