Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joe Saladino says the town has crews and equipment ready now that Isaias has made landfall.
Saladino says the town has prepared pumps, chainsaws, generators and trucks, for any emergency response. He adds that crews already responded to reports of seven trees that went down Monday night
He says the "saving grace" of the storm is that its brunt is happening during low tide.
Saladino says there are concerns over beach erosion, as much of the impact from Isaias is occurring on the South Shore.
Saladino encourages residents to bring any outdoor furniture back indoors and to stay indoors.
