The Town of Oyster Bay hosted a Polar Plunge Saturday morning to benefit the Special Olympics.

The event was held in Tobay Beach and drew crowds from all over Long Island.

Money raised helps Special Olympic New York programs to provide year-round sports training and competition, as well as leadership, health and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
