Today marks the one year anniversary since the first set of human remains were found along the Ocean Parkway during their search for missing New Jersey prostitute Shannan Gilbert.
In all police discovered 10 sets of human remains, none of which were Gilbert's.
Officials say that recent discoveries last week of Gilbert's ID and other belongings believed to have belonged to her in a marshy area in Oak Beach likely means that she was not murdered, but likely accidentally drowned.
The 10 other bodies found were likely murdered by one person, according to police. Officials say they've yet to identify a suspect in the murders.
For Gilbert's mother, she's just coming to terms with the fact that her daughter is likely dead.
