Officials kick off 10th annual Suffolk County Marathon

6h agoSuffolk County Executive Ed Romaine and other local officials kicked off events Thursday for the 10th annual Suffolk County Marathon.
The weekend of Oct. 19 and 20 will include the full and half marathon along with the 10K, 5K and 1K Fun Run.
The annual event was launched in 2015 to support Suffolk veterans.
The marathon has raised over $1 million to date.
