Four people were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning in Mastic late Friday, fire officials say.
They say they were called to a home on Floyd Road North just after 11 p.m.

News 12 is told the emergency was most likely caused by a generator running inside the home due to a power outages.

Six people were inside at the time.

There is no word on their conditions.
