Officials say the number of people who visited state parks this summer has increased. 
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says more than 38 million people visited the parks from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The number is up 120,000 from last year.
The state is keeping some beaches open until Sept. 18. The beaches include Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Hither Hills and Sunken Meadow.
