According to the superintendent, a person who made a troubling comment was asked to come to the administration building to be questioned. Due to the nature of the comment, officials say they alerted police who arrived shortly after.
School officials say police advised them that because of the proximity of the administration building to the high school, students and staff should be on lockdown as a precaution.
Students and staff remained in place until the individual arrived at the building, school officials say. The incident is now in the hands of police.
All students and staff are safe.
