An off-duty NYPD officer from Lynbrook is accused of threatening a driver with a gun.
Police say Officer Sean Maxwell pointed his handgun at another driver at the corner of Birch Street and Lenox Avenue in Lynbrook Sunday night.
According to police, Maxwell pulled his gun after the alleged victim yelled at him to stop at a stop sign.
Maxwell was later arrested at his home.
