NYU Langone Health is proposing a major expansion into Suffolk County with plans to invest at least $1 billion in a new teaching hospital and research center in Melville, Suffolk County officials confirm.
The project would be located at the Huntington Quadrangle, just south of the Long Island Expressway.
The site is the same area that recently received approval for the $130 million Melville Crossing project.
