NYC PBA: NYPD officer killed in single car crash on Southern State Parkway

The New York City Police Benevolent Association has confirmed that an NYPD officer was killed in a crash on the Southern State Parkway.
The union posted photos to social media of the salute to Clifford Saintvil outside of NYU Langone Hospital.
The post says the crash happened while Saintvil was on his way to work.
Saintvil was an officer at the 113th Precinct in Queens.
As News 12 has reported, police say the 32-year-old hit a tree on the right shoulder near Exit 13 in North Valley Stream Sunday morning.
Saintvil died at the hospital.
