The report states that one train collided with a stopped train going 17 mph. This collision caused some of the cars to derail. The NTSB says the crash happened on a sharp right-hand curve on a downhill angle. Three crew members were hurt but are expected to be OK.

The crash caused about $180,000 in damage.
