Northwell Health is now mandating that all new hires get the COVID-19 vaccine.

New York's largest health care provider says it's part of their obligation to set an example for the community.

Northwell Health is also requiring all volunteers and students to get the shot.

The company said in part, "...We will be mandating vaccinations for newly hired employees and plan to soon launch a requirement that unvaccinated team members receive regular COVID-19 PCR testing."
