Many on the North Shore continue to clean up from Tuesday's storm as the remnants of Debby quickly approach.

Areas like Glen Cove saw heavy flooding on streets, but the big concern for others is mudslides.

Tuesday's storm sent mud, water and sand cascading toward the Bellmann's backyard in Manorhaven. They tell News 12 the cliff first came down during Hurricane Ida in 2021.

"We're scared. We're scared for tomorrow,” said Lorraine Bellmann. "Every rainstorm, we're looking out the window. We're checking the windows. We're checking the basement. We're just in fear of what's going to be next."

Harald Bellmann says they’re hoping for the best tomorrow as the remnants of Debby quickly approach.

"We're feeling nervous but at the same time, now that we've been able to shore up a little bit, we're praying that not a lot is going to come into our house," he said.
