The brother of rapper Nicki Minaj was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life behind bars for sexually assaulting his former 11-year-old stepdaughter.
Jelani Maraj was convicted in 2017 for repeatedly assaulting the girl in their Baldwin home.
His lawyers claimed the allegation was a scheme to extort millions from Maraj's famous sister.
