Good news for air travelers
who want to fly out of Islip's MacArthur Airport.
Newsday says two of the airport's three carriers say they plan to
add or restore flights as state travel restrictions over the coronavirus
pandemic are slowly lifted.
American Airlines says it will resume flights to Philadelphia on
Oct. 7.
Southwest says it plans to
restore flights from MacArthur to pre-COVID levels, which is about 10 a day, in
January.
