Newsday: Some MacArthur flights to resume as travel restrictions ease

Good news for air travelers who want to fly out of Islip's MacArthur Airport.
Newsday says two of the airport's three carriers say they plan to add or restore flights as state travel restrictions over the coronavirus pandemic are slowly lifted.
American Airlines says it will resume flights to Philadelphia on Oct. 7.
Southwest says it plans to restore flights from MacArthur to pre-COVID levels, which is about 10 a day, in January.
