Thousands of local college students and families could be facing a tuition hike at Nassau Community College.

According to Newsday, county lawmakers have approved an increase in tuition at the college.

Tuition would go up $100 a semester for full-time students.

News 12 has also been told the school’s spending plan includes cuts in salaries and benefits as well as reductions in other expenses.
