When it comes to trustworthiness, Long Islanders gave the edge to Hillary Clinton, according to a new News 12/Hofstra poll.
When asked which of the main two political candidates do you trust the most, 37 percent said Clinton. A total of 34 percent supported Donald Trump.
Twenty-seven percent of those polled responded that they didn't trust either candidate for president of the United States.
One percent were undecided.
The News 12/Hofstra poll questioned 464 adults from Nassau and Suffolk counties.
