Residents in seven Long Island school districts headed back to the polls Tuesday after their school budgets were rejected last month.
In Suffolk County, voters weighed in on proposals for schools in Hauppauge, Kings Park, Lindenhurst, Patchogue-Medford, Shelter Island and Shoreham-Wading River.
The sole school district in Nassau County that was up for a re-vote was Wantagh.
