New state-of-the-art technology propels Connetquot students toward successful careers

A new piece of state-of-the-art technology is now in a Suffolk classroom and its propelling students toward successful careers.
The college-level medical anatomy and psychology class at Connetquot High School is full of future medical specialists like Zach Palazzotto.
"I plan on studying biomedical engineering," says Palazzotto.
The Anatomage Table provides a realistic life-sized 3D anatomy system as if the students were working with an actual cadaver.
Science teacher Erica Dosch says the table is used all over the country in top med schools. Dosch has been teaching the class for more than 10 years.
"To help them in this important journey because we expect 17-year-olds to know what they want to do with their life," says Dosch. "That's a tough question to ask so if I can help them figure out what they want to do with their life, even with 10 kids then I've done my job."
The Board of Education came up with the idea for the table and provided the funds.
