The Broadway Commons in Hicksville could soon be getting a major makeover.
The new owners of the mall are hoping to transform the property into an open-air lifestyle center.
Their plan would include tearing down the Macy's and a lot of the inside of the mall.
The proposal would also bring restaurants with outdoor seating and other entertainment tenants.
The IKEA and Target stores on the property would remain.
