A new outdoor food court is coming to Jones Beach and it will be open in time for the Memorial Day crowds.

SmorgasBar is being built at the site of an old restaurant at the park's main entrance. It will feature food and beverage vendors, a shaded dining area and a sand play area with ping pong, bocce and horseshoes.

SmorgasBar opens next weekend and is expected to help revitalize the park.
