Other than making sure you be careful swimming at our local Long Island beaches this weekend due to a moderate rip current risk, this weather is simply spectacular today through the weekend!
I hope you can take advantage of it. The weather next week does turn a bit hotter and more humid starting Monday.
This is also just a friendly reminder that our LI sunsets are getting earlier and are officially before 8 p.m.
Abnormally dry conditions continue for Nassau and Suffolk Counties, too. So, we do need some rain, but significant rain is still not expected through most, if not all, of next week.
