Nativity scene smashed into pieces at Sayville church
The crash happened on Sunrise Highway in North Babylon just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday near Lotus Street.

Police are searching for the person who smashed a nativity scene to pieces at a Sayville church.
The incident happened at St. Lawrence Martyr Church on Montauk Highway.
Police say it happened sometime between Jan. 3 and Jan. 4.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
